An experiential and creative information workshop for the children and teachers of the 15th kindergarten of Kozani, took place on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The workshop was implemented in the context of the GREENOVATE project and the action “Make my city green and beautiful”, which is part of the European initiative «New European Bauhaus».

The GREENOVATE project, whose partner is the Municipality of Kozani in collaboration with JOIN4CS, is a project funded by the European Institute of Research and Technology (EIT) in the framework of the EIT’s Community Initiative for New European Bauhaus.

The New European Bauhaus is an environmental, economic and cultural project that aims to bring together design, sustainability, accessibility, affordability and investment to contribute to the implementation of the European Green Deal.

Connecting diverse backgrounds, cutting across disciplines and building on participation at all levels, the New European Bauhaus inspires a movement that will facilitate and direct the transformation of our societies based on three inseparable values:

1. Sustainability: from climate goals up to circularity, zero pollution and biodiversity

2. Aesthetics: quality of experience and style, beyond functionality

3. Inclusion: from harnessing diversity to ensuring accessibility and economic accessibility.

The goal of the planning phase is to shape the central idea through brainstorming, identifying the most pressing needs and challenges, and connecting stakeholders.

The Municipality of Kozani and JOIN4CS express their appreciation to the parents of the young students, the teachers, as well as the management of the 15th Kindergarten of Kozani for the cooperation.
