Kozani 2030: The Entrepreneurship Unit and the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia are informed about climate neutrality.
In the context of the participation of the Municipality of Kozani in the European Mission of 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030, two informative meetings were held at the premises of the University of Western Macedonia.
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the Entrepreneurship Unit of the University of Western Macedonia (ME-PDM) had the opportunity to know details about climate neutrality and the Cities Mission. The briefing was given by the director of the Cluster of Bioeconomy & Environment of Western Macedonia – CLUBE, Dr. Ioannis Fallas and the project manager, Vasilios Balachtsis.
On Thursday, May 11, 2023, the students of the Product and Systems Engineering Department of UoWM were informed about the goals of the Municipality of Kozani in view of 2030.
The managers of CluBE Dr. Ioannis Fallas and Nikolaos Davos and the project manager Vasilios Balachtsis analyzed the objectives of the Municipality of Kozani to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and what will be implemented through the Mission, so that the participants understand the dynamics and perspective of project.
