This procurement takes place within the framework of the “Procurement and Installation of Urban Equipment in Public Spaces ” of the Municipality of Kozani. 80% of funding comes from the Green Fund “Environmental Balance Actions” 2019-2020, of Priority Axis 1: “Urban Reconstruction” while the rest 20% of funding comes from the resources of the Municipality of Kozani.
The equipment is completely environmentally friendly, as it is 100% energy autonomous, harmonizes perfectly with the surrounding space and it does not need to be connected to the mains. The solar benches and the solar pole work only with solar energy and enable the charging of mobile devices through USB ports, the wireless charging (QI) of devices, as well as the connection to the Internet through 4G Wifi.
