“Play, laugh and learn about the environment” is the sloghan of this year’s Environment Festival, organized by the Municipality of Kozani aiming to raise awareness and active participation of young and old.<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the Central Square of Kozani, 11:30 \u2013 14:00, on the occasion of World Environment Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is implemented in collaboration with the CluBE-Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, DIADYMA, Go Alive, KDAP \u00abSmall Explorers\u00bb and Nomadic Centaurs. The sponsors of the event are PPC SA. and Cosmote.<\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration includes a series of environmental activities with games and creative activities, for our little friends. The aim is for them to be informed about the important benefits of everyday behaviors towards the environment and to choose a correct environmental attitude, which will undoubtedly improve the quality of life for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Environment Festival we will find:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Origami, jenga and bowling with recyclable materials, basketball in recycling bins, “What do I throw & where”, memory cards and other games with CluBE and DIADYMA.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Interactive storytelling for environmental awareness, with KDAP Little Explorers.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Face painting <\/span><\/p>\n

-”A breath for the environment” from PPC SA with the distribution of plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Update on the participation of the Municipality of Kozani in the European Mission of 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030<\/span><\/p>\n

-Exhibition of bio-based and reusable products by CluBE.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Update on good waste management practices from DIADYMA.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Actions and informative material from the organization Go Alive<\/span><\/p>\n

– Exhibition of equipment for outdoor activities, such as bicycles, boats, etc., by Nomadic Centaurs.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
